The track was written by Cardi B, Jonathan Descartes, Melanie Joy Fontana, Ryan Tedder, Steven Franks, Teddy, Tommy Brown and Torae Carr, and produced by Franks, Teddy and Brown.

"Bet You Wanna" debuted in the top 100 of several countries, including Australia, Canada, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, Portugal, Scotland, Singapore, South Korea and the United Kingdom. Although it did not enter the US Billboard Hot 100, it debuted at number one on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart.
