About Living Proof

On November 13, 2019, Camila revealed the album art and release date for her sophomore album Romance, whilst announcing that “Living Proof” would be released later that week, as the album’s fifth (solo) single. In the announcement post, Camila commented: (It is) one of the first and one of my favorite songs I wrote for the album. The track was first hinted to when Camila tweeted about it in February 2019, telling fans: I showed my fam the songs I have so far last night, a unanimous favorite is a song called “Living Proof.” Unbeknownst to fans at the time, on June 29, 2019, Camila shared a snippet of the track online, featuring part of the second verse. The song has been performed live for the first time at the AMAs on November 24, 2019, alongside the release of the music video.
