The highly-awaited Maluma and J Balvin collaboration finally happened because, as they say at the end of their track, “The good things take time.” On Sept. 27, both artists from Medellin launched “Que Pena,” a seductive urban track with fusions of Caribbean, EDM, and tango dance melodies. In the song, Balvin and Maluma sing about meeting a woman for the second time, and although they remember her face, they can’t seem to remember her name. As they go back-and-forth trying to convince the woman for another night out, Balvin and Maluma admit that they feel embarrassed about the situation.
